LongBeach Music Violin Fingering Tape

Features:

300" of String Instrument Tape.  300" makes 75-four inch strips for violin; less strips for larger instruments.

 

For use on all stringed instruments.  These specially designed, durable, plastic, color tapes will not harm the fingerboard surface.  We recommend using black for older students, and the 4 bright colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green) for younger students to mark the first 4 positions.

 

To apply, First, clean the fingerboard to remove dirt and oil.  It is best to cut the tape strips long enough to wrap around the fingering board so that the two ends will overlap on the back of the neck.  Next slide the tape under the strings, placing it on the front of the fingerboard.  Leave the ends of the tape loose and sticking out.  Then, lift the tape by the ends and reposition the each tape to the exact fingering position.  Once properly placed, wrap the ends around the back of the neck.
